**Young Water Professionals (YWP) are 35 years old or younger OR have less than 5 years of experience within the water sector.
The registration fee includes: Breakfast, lunch, and coffee breaks during the conference, admission to the conference venue and all sessions (Monday & Tuesday), and all conference materials.

| SUNDAY Afternoon – Networking & Harbor Event (Not an official part of the program – optional) Sunday is not an official part of the program, but we will organize an informal networking/swimming event at the Islands Brygge Harbor Sunday afternoon, and we have arranged boats to pick the participants up after the event at 4 PM. VAT: The Conference is exempt from VAT. Meaning that no VAT is charged by the Conference Organizer. Young Water Professionals Denmark is registered as a non-profit organization in Denmark.
Terms And Conditions
By registering for the YWP European Conference 2024 organized by the Young Water Professionals Denmark with help from other YWP-Chapters in Europe. The following terms and conditions are set out below.
Attendance
The Conference Organisers make no warranty as to the number of attendees that attend this event. The conference can accommodate a maximum of 300 attendees, and registration is subject to acceptance on a first-come-first-served basis.
Name and photo information
Before name and affiliation details can be published in the list of event attendees for distribution to fellow attendees or any other party, attendees must give consent. This consent may be requested upon registration. Attendees also accept that photos and videos from the conference may be posted online, e.g., on social media platforms, websites, etc.
IWA – membership
Membership of IWA will be verified and membership status is not transferable. If you wish to apply for membership and get a registration discount, please visit IWA – Memberships.
YWP – Registration does not require a paid IWA membership.
Additional costs
Technical visits: are open for the conference registrants with a ticket. Seats are limited, registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. Technical Visits may be canceled due to insufficient enrolment. If canceled registrants will be offered new options or a refund (including ticket transaction fees).

Payment & Cancellation
Payment methods can be made with a variety of different cards. All communication between you and Billetto is encrypted. The ticket operator, Billetto, charges a transaction fee on all tickets which is included in the final price. The fee can vary depending on the chosen ticket (ticket transaction fee approx. 10 % of the final price).
E-invoicing is also possible. You need to update the payment method and provide your organization’s details, then request an invoice from us. Once we have processed the invoice and received your payment, we will send you a confirmation along with the tickets.
Onsite registration and payment is not possible.
No cancellations will be accepted if requests are received after, the 1st of May*. In case of a cancellation, refund claims should be directed to treasurer@ywp.dk. Transaction fees cannot be refunded regardless of the reason for canceling.
*If the conference sells out before the 1st of May, 2024, we will consider creating a waiting list. You will have an additional opportunity to receive a refund for your ticket fee if you are unable to attend the conference, excluding any additional ticket transaction fees.
Insurance
Registration does not include insurance of any kind. It is recommended that participants take out their own general travel insurance. It is suggested that the insurance policy should also cover the loss of fees/deposits, airfares, accommodation charges, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property, and repatriation expenses. The insurance should cover loss arising from the cancellation of the conference by the organizers or a person’s inability to attend due to any reason whatsoever. No responsibility is taken by the conference organizers for any person not holding insurance.
Unavoidable Occurrences
Should any or all of the events be canceled or delayed through no fault of the Conference Organisers, or the Organising Committee, then the attendant will not be entitled to any refund or claim for any loss or damage.
Cancellation/postponement because of the Covid-19 virus or other types of viruses: In case of cancellation/postponement of a live event, because of a virus, the Organizer will contact the attendant at the earliest. Registration and payment obligations remain valid only in case of postponement. The attendant is not entitled to compensation.
VISA
You may need a short-term visa to travel to Denmark and attend the conference if you don’t have an EU passport. You can read more about how to apply for a short-term visa at the Danish immigration authorities website. Please be aware that the visa processing may be quite lengthy. We therefore advise you to start the application process as soon as possible.
When applying for a visa to Denmark, you may need a letter of invitation. Due to limited resources, the Organizing Committee does not offer assistance with an invitation letter.
Any Attendees who take part in the conference must comply with the relevant rules, regulations, and laws of Denmark; and shall be solely responsible for observing and complying with the same for obtaining all consents, approvals, authorities, licenses, and the like as may be requisite to participation in the conference.
